Born From Passion,
Built on Purpose

Happy K9 Charity was founded on a simple but powerful belief — that dogs make people better, and people make dogs better. As lifelong dog lovers who had seen firsthand how animals can transform isolation into connection, anxiety into calm, and uncertainty into confidence, we built something that goes far beyond dog care.

We saw a gap nobody was filling. Dogs in London needed professional, affordable, welfare-centred care. People rebuilding their lives after difficult times needed meaningful routes back into work. The two, we realised, were a perfect match.

"This is not charity on the side. It is the beating heart of everything we do — from our staff ratios to our subsidised rates, from our force-free training to our community day care."

One Dog.
One Day.
One Life Changed.

Alongside our qualified team, people rebuilding their lives after mental health challenges, recovery or long-term unemployment join us as trainees. They gain real skills, accredited qualifications — and a restored belief in themselves.

Every session your dog attends funds a trainee's next step forward. Every booking subsidises care for a vulnerable owner who needs us. Every happy dog that walks through our door is part of something bigger than a great day out.
